Puri & Bhubaneshwar With Konark And Chilka Lake

Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport – Puri (60 kms / 2 hrs) We shall meet on arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station and start our journey to Puri. In the evening it is scheduled to visit Lord Jagannath Temple built in 15th Century AD and crowned with Vishnu’s wheel & flag dominate the landscape at Puri. Night-stay will be at Puri.

Excursion to Chilika Lake (Satpada) (50 kms one way) After breakfast its time to start for day excursion to Chilika Lake (Place called Satpada). It’s famous for the Irrawaddy Dolphins. One can enjoy boating also at Satpada (at own cost) and visit the lagoon where the lake meets with into Bay of Bengal. Evening we will be back to Puri. Night-stay will be at Puri.

Puri - Bhubaneswar via Konark (65 kms) After Breakfast we will proceed for Bhubaneswar enroute visit Chandra Bhaga Sea Beach, Konark Sun Temple, Pipili (the eplique village) & Dhauli. On arriving we will check-in to hotel. Evening will be free for leisure. Night-stay will be at Bhubaneswar.

After breakfast we will visit Lingraj Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the oldest temple where non-hindu’s are not allowed inside the temple premises. Later proceed to Udaigiri and Khandagiri Jain caves belong to 2nd Century BC, & Nandan Kanan which has a botanical garden and part of it has been declared as sanctuary which is famous for its white tiger population (Closed on Monday). By evening we will enjoy shopping at Ekamra Haat for local handicrafts and other goodies. Night-stay will be at Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar Hotel – Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport After breakfast we will check-out from hotel and proceed for Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station for onwards journey.
