Arrive in Bagdogra Airport, meet our tour representative. He would help you in taking an assisted transfer to Gangtok.
After you arrive in Gangtok, check- into the hotel. You can relax for a while. The evening is at leisure and you can spend it as per your ow... n liking. Have a leisure walk up to the Mall or visit the local shopping centers to get your hands on some memorabilia. Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 2
Gangtok Sightseeing
You need to get up early, get fresh and have heavy breakfast till 7. 30am. We drive you to Tsomgo Lake Alt 12000ft/3600M, a high altitude alpine lake close to Indo-China Border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pure... clear water remains frozen during winter. Enjoy playing in snow and Yak Ride. Proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir “Hero of Nathula” An Indian soldiers who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra medal for his bravery and known for doing his duty still after death. Back to Hotel for late Lunch. Optional tour to Nathula Pass Alt 14000Ft / 4200M on China Border can also be arranged Except Mon, Tue for Indian Nationals only with 30 Days Advance Request at an additional cost. Take some rest. Or you may visit the famous M G Marg. It is now more like a long stretch of open mall or avenue square where locals and tourists take leisure stroll or just sit and relax on one of the many benches laid along the middle and both sides of the road to enjoy the ambience. Gangtok - Lachen
Morning drive to Lachen in North Sikkim Alt 9175Ft / 2750M. On the way visit Singhik, Seven Sister Water Falls, Chungthang Confluence. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check in at local Guest house or hotel. Free evening and Overnight stay at Lachen.

Lachen - Thangu, Chopta Valley - Lachung
Early morning drive to Thangu Village Alt 13625Ft / 4100M, a remote high altitude village of Tibetan Nomads and also proceed further to Chopta Valley Alt 13325Ft / 4000M to get some breathtaking view of alpine valley of frozen rivers. From Chopta Valley drive ... for another 30kms in 1. 5hr to Gurudongmar Lake Alt 17375Ft / 5225M close to Tibet Border, the one of the Highest and biggest fresh water lakes in Sikkim. Back to Lachen for Lunch. Lachen to Lachung, 50kms in 2. 5hrs – Check out from Lachen and drive further to Lachung Alt 8075Ft / 2425M via Chungthang. Lachung - Yumthang - Gangtok
Yumthang is popularly known as 'Valley of Flowers. It is also home to the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, and has over 24 species of the Rhododendron, the state flower. Darjeeling - Dropoff
After breakfast, move towards IXB. Today you will depart from Darjeeling with a cute smile on your face remembering all the sweet moments spent here and drive back to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport for further journey. What is the best time to visit North East India ?
the whole region is dominated by hills and mountains to a large extent. Due to this, the climate in North East India generally remains cool while winters do get extremely cold.
It is advised that traveling to North East regions should be avoided in the rainy season from May to September-end. Hence, the best time to visit North East India is from the months of November to April.
Do I need any special permissions to visit the North East?
Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura do not need any permits to visit. Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland, however, require an ILP or Inner Line Permit to visit.
While Sikkim does not require an Inner Line Pass to visit, there are certain areas that need an ILP: Menmecho Lake, Tsomgo Lake, Nathu La and Kupup in the east. Chopta, Chungthang, Lachung, Thangu, Yumesamdong, Yumthang Valley, Lachen and Gurudongmar Lake in the north.
Does it snow in the North East?
Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim are the two north east states that receive seasonal snowfall during winter.
How many days are required for a trip though the north east?
If you want to cover all the states in one trip, you will need around 15 days to cover the entire north east. But, if you’re looking to cover each state one by one, 5-7 days are enough for each state.
