Colombo - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Bentota

Upon your arrival at Colombo airport, you will be greeted by our representative and will be proceeded towards your pre-booked hotel. Check – in to the hotel. While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum (Entrance by clients), Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. (Entrance fees to sites not included). For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc.

Proceed to Kandy, En-route you will visit one of the most important tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned and injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You want walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in water. Visit the Gem Museum. Sri Lanka produces the finest quality of gems in the world. Semi-precious gems, the sapphires of Sri Lanka, which are very exclusive and comes in shades of blue, red, green, white etc. Evening enjoy Kandy Lake. Overnight Stay At Kandy Hotel.

While on your city tour you will visit one of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of Sacred tooths Relic known to the Sri Lankans as Dalada Maligawa. Your next visit will be to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens (entrance by clients) which is a paradise for nature lovers. This beautiful flower Eden is restored with over 300 different varieties of orchids, other spices, medicinal plants and Palm trees. Every year more than 1.2 million people are enchanted by the beauty of these 147 acre flower gardens. Also you will visit Ceylon Tea Museum And Spice Garden. In the evening you will witness a traditional cultural dance show.

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Visit a tea factory plantation on the way. Nuwara Eliya The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Check in to the hotel. Later proceed for Lake Gregory. It is a reservoir in heart of the tea country hill city, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Visit the Victoria Park, in the middle of the town. It is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic and is also good for Birding as you get some rare birds in this Park. Also visit the Hakgala Botanical Garden was one of the pleasure gardens of King Ravana of the well-known epic Ramayanaya. Overnight stay at a Nuwara Eliya hotel.

After breakfast transfer to Bentota. It is approximately 65 kilometres south of Colombo and 56 kilometres north of Galle. Bentota is a tourist attraction, with a local airport (Bentota River Airport) and a handful of world-class hotels. It is a destination for Water Sports. Bentota also delivers an ancient art of healing called Ayurveda. Bentota is famous for its toddy production, an alcoholic beverage made out of coconut nectar. It also has a turtle hatchery, located on Induruwa beach sightseeing at Hikkadua beach. Enjoy beach activities. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Grab a good breakfast, spend some time at leisure and enjoy some last minute shopping depending on your flight schedule. Check-out from the hotel and get transferred to the Colombo airport to board your return flight.
